A recruiter works for the employer. Your agent works for you.
Recruiters are paid by the company that is hiring, so most work to the employer's brief first and fill their own live roles. That is what they are being paid to do. CaesarHire has one client, and it is you. It searches every day against a plan you approved, writes a tailored CV and cover letter for each role you say yes to, and leaves the send button with you.
| Dimension | CaesarHire | Recruiters |
|---|---|---|
| Who pays | You are the only client. It searches against the plan you approved and nothing else, and it will not change that plan without your yes. | The hiring company pays the fee. Most recruiters therefore work to the employer's brief first, which is exactly what they are being paid to do. |
| Roles you see | It searches job boards, company career pages and applicant tracking systems every day, and brings up to twenty roles scored against your plan with the reasons on show. | Typically the roles sitting on that recruiter's own desk. The good ones refer you to colleagues, but no single agency covers the whole market. |
| When you do not fit | It keeps searching whether or not anything fits today. On a day nothing clears the bar it tells you it found nothing rather than padding a list. | Most go quiet once you are not right for a live brief. It is rarely personal. They are paid to fill roles, not to run your search. |
| Your CV | A tailored CV and cover letter for every role you approve, built only from facts you have confirmed, then checked against those facts before you read it. | Most reformat your CV into their own template before sending it on. A good recruiter will also tell you honestly what is weak in it. |
| Sending it | It drafts, you send. Every application goes out in your own name on the employer's own site, and nothing goes anywhere without you. | They submit you to their client themselves, which is faster and saves you the form. You usually do not see what was written about you. |
| Advocacy | It cannot ring a hiring manager or vouch for you as a person. It gives you the material and the practice so you can do that yourself. | This is the real advantage of a recruiter. Someone with a genuine relationship can put your name in a room you would not otherwise reach. |
| Interview prep | Practice interviews by video, out loud or typed, each ending in an honest debrief, and video calls keep the full transcript for you to reread. | Most will brief you on the client, the format and the people. How deep that goes varies a lot with the individual recruiter. |
This describes how recruiters generally work. Individual products vary, so check the one you are considering.
Why CaesarHire
- It works only for you. There is no client on the other side of the table whose brief you have to fit before anyone looks at you.
- It searches every day, not only when a brief happens to land. Job boards, company career pages and applicant tracking systems, everything scored against your plan with the reasons shown.
- Every line traces back to a fact you confirmed. It will not put something in a CV you have not said yes to, and it flags anything it cannot stand behind.
- You keep the send button. Applications go out in your own name, on the employer's own site, every time.
- Most people never get a headhunter working for them. Your agent is in your corner whether or not anyone is paying to fill a role you happen to fit.
When a recruiter is the right person to have
- A recruiter who genuinely knows your market has something software does not: relationships. They know which team is really hiring, which manager is worth working for, and what a role pays before it is ever advertised.
- In a room where you cannot speak for yourself, they can. A recruiter who rates you can push a client to see one more candidate, and that single phone call has changed plenty of careers.
- Some of the best jobs are never advertised at all. If a headhunter is running a search in your field, being on their list is worth more than any amount of applying.
- If you are senior, specialised, or known in a small industry, a good recruiter should already be looking for you. Take the call, build the relationship, and keep it warm for the rest of your career.
Questions
Should I stop talking to recruiters if I use CaesarHire?
No. They are not chasing the same thing. A recruiter is a route into the roles on their desk, and a relationship with a good one is worth keeping for years. Your agent runs the rest of your search alongside that. When a recruiter emails you, forward it to your personal CaesarHire address and your agent works out what it means, moves the application to the right stage and drafts your reply for you to send.
Is CaesarHire a recruitment agency?
No. It is software that works for you, the candidate. It does not represent employers, it is not paid by them, and it does not place anyone. It finds roles, prepares each application from facts you have confirmed, and you apply yourself on the employer's own site.
Can it get me in front of a hiring manager the way a recruiter can?
No, and it is worth being straight about that. It cannot ring anyone on your behalf or vouch for you personally. What it can do is find the roles genuinely worth your time, write an honest, strong application for each one, and put you through practice interviews with a real debrief so you speak well for yourself in the room.
Which countries does it work in?
You tell your agent which countries you want to work in and whether you already have the right to work there. It searches those markets, and it will not put you in front of a role you could not legally take.
